Botond has more than fifteen years experience in leading innovative projects from the field of renewable energy utilization, bioengineering, agriculture and food processing. Prior to this role, Botond was an advisor in electricity and natural gas markets at KPMG and project manager at Türr István Training and Research Institute.
Botond was also Assistant Professor at the Technical Department of Corvinus University of Budapest. His main research area included biogas production, biogas utilization, identification of synergies and energy efficiency.
Botond obtained his MSc degree in Transportation Engineering (major: industrial logistics) st Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He also earned a PhD degree in Agrarian Science in biogas logistics at the University of Debrecen.
